Cali is harsh, and yet undeniably beautiful and very hard to leave behind.
I knew I had found my tribe when someone innocently said that my (former) home state was part of the US and I was forgiven for thinking I was muted and laughing.
Some of you understand, some of you don’t, but all of you are the “we of me” now.
