Yes, human made. There were several dozen of these stacked and balanced rocks on this beach. With the current storms I imagine nature has knocked them down.

Just my opinion: This is fine on a beach where the tide will eventually restore them, but I’m not a fan of stacking rocks as art in the backcountry. Making trail markers is fine, but any other reason is not “leaving only footprints”.

Gravity is amazing. As is nature. But, I suspect this arrangement was man made.
