When I first adopted a nomadic way of life, I loved the new views and renewed sense of purpose. But, for me, it was not easier. Easier came later. My SUV’s interior challenged me to make room for the tools I thought necessary to support daily life. Materially and emotionally, everything got simpler once I started to live with my stuff and not stow it. Along the way, I dumped the overly heavy, the not-used, and even the might-use-it-one-day stuff. Structures and systems I considered compulsory to the American way of life began to collapse. What remained was not the stuff I had thought essential, but rather contentment in creating and living a life essential.

Wise words Susan. In that process now & looking forward to reaching my contentment in creating, while living a life essential.

Hi Al, watch out, don’t come near L.A. 2-3 days ago some vandal ( s ) burned several trailers / vans & motorhomes parked on the streets; Sad there are insensitive, inconsiderate people out there? ?.
So true

I lived in Southern California for 14 years. I know how to avoid trouble when I go back.
